Abstract
This paper gives a method, with an example, of constructing a potential which is near reflectionless for some range of energies. The assumed structure of the desired reflection coefficient, r(k), is known function that is filtered by an inverted Gaussian. This gives an r(k) that is zero at particular energy and is exponentially near zero in a surrounding range.
