Abstract
We present a radial coordinate Green element model (GEM) for the computation of transient fluid flow in a straight rigid pipe driven by oscillatory pressure gradient. GEM's elementwise discretization of the problem domain and the accurate solution of the resulting Fredholm integral equations guarantees accuracy. In particular boundary conditions of the governing equations are exactly satisfied, and high accuracy with minimum computational effort is displayed by comparing GEM results with those obtained from scientific literature.
