Abstract
The unsteady flow and heat transfer of an incompressible viscous non-Newtonian fluid about an infinite rotating porous disk are studied. The effect of the non-Newtonian fluid characteristics and the suction or injection velocity at the surface of the disk on the velocity and temperature distributions as well as the heat transfer is considered. Numerical solutions for the governing equations are obtained over the entire range of the physical parameters.
