Abstract
Algorithms are developed for evaluating an arbitrarily often differentiable, compactly supported function, which is the solution of a homogeneous integral-functional equation. In the literature this function is called Ï. These algorithms are based on some properties of this function, which are derived first. The function itself is also of interest in other fields in mathematics due to its special properties.
