Abstract
We consider Schrödinger flows which are given by a real symmetric non-degenerate matrix of variable coefficient second order differential operators. After establishing the local smoothing effect we treat non-linear perturbations for first and zero order terms. A fundamental step is the construction of an integrating factor using some non-standard symbols.
