Abstract
A bicyclo[3.3.1]nonane derivative, identified as 8,8-dimethyl-5-geranyl-1,7-bis(3-methylbut-2-enyl)bicyclo[3.3.1]nona-2,4,9-trione was isolated from Calophyllum enervosum. The compound exhibited a moderate antimicrobial property.
