Abstract
In recent years significant attention has been focused on phosphorus-containing epoxy monomers and epoxy resins. A short overview of the recent literature on reactive flame retardants in epoxy resins is presented. This paper also discusses results on combustion performance and physical properties of a new reactive organophosphorus reactive additive, Fyrol PMP, specially designed for epoxy resins in electrical and electronic applications.
