Abstract
When SCA was used, the mechanical properties were improved, since SCA accomplished a better interfacial adhesion between the fibers and the matrix. HTPB modification of the matrix also has an effect on improving the mechanical properties, especially increasing the toughness. This increase was obtained by the round-shaped rubber domains formed in the matrix due to HTPB.
