Abstract
OD EPR spectra were recorded for aË3Au triplet levels of (COF)2, coupled by intramolecular interactions to levels of an adjacent AË1Au singlet state, by exciting the molecule into individual rovibronic levels of this singlet state. The spectra were recorded for Jâ²Â = 0â5; Kaâ²=0 and Jâ²Â = 1â5; Kaâ²=1. Spectroscopic parameters of the aË3Au state were estimated by fitting a theoretical model to the experimental spectra. The VdW complex and cluster formation effects were observed in the OD EPR spectra and in the time-resolved molecular beam experiments for the Ar + (COF)2 + NO mixtures. OD EPR line broadening and fluorescence lifetime reduction in presence of NO were interpreted as resulting from cluster formation.
