Abstract
We propose a new method, which determines the mean density of fluid confined in nanopore from the ratio of the NMR signals due to bulk and confined fluids. The present method is successfully applied to SF6 confined in porous Vycor glass in a wide range of the fluid phase. The mean density in nanopore accounts for the behavior of the chemical shift.
