Abstract
Current-voltage profile of the molecule on a nanogap electrode along the chemical reaction path was studied using the standard method of quantum chemistry and equilibrium Green's function formalism. Current-voltage profile corresponds to the energy profile along the chemical reaction path, which shows that it is possible to detect and track chemical reactions using electrical conduction measurements.
