Abstract
The possible effects of coupling between the nuclear and electronic motion in Cl2-, on the photodetachment rate of the electron induced by either a time varying monochromatic or a bichromatic field are studied by means of a multistate mean field model based on an effective one-electron hamiltonian for describing the states of the anionic electron. Significant effects of the parameters of the bichromatic field and the strength of electron-nuclear coupling are observed.
