Abstract
Self-diffusion coefficient (Dm0), interaction parameter (kf) and hydrodynamic radius (Rhm) of water insoluble PEO-PPO-PEO triblock copolymer (mol. wt. 2800) micelles in SDS micellar environment and vice versa were determined for the first time using cyclic voltammetric (CV) technique. The Rhm values obtained in present investigation by CV method are in good agreement with transport and DLS studies made by us recently. The half-wave potential (E1/2) of ferrocene in SDS micelles was 0.25-0.26Â V. However, the above E1/2 values obtained in PEO-PPO-PEO polymer/SDS mixed micellar environments were in the range 0.45-0.50Â V.
