Abstract
The rotational spectra of the most stable conformer of tryptophol has been assigned by free jet millimeter-wave absorption spectroscopy. The molecule is stabilized by an intramolecular N-Hâ¯Ï bridge, formed between the hydroxyl hydrogen and the Ï system of the pyrrol unity.
