Abstract
The present paper describes properties of the electron emission from negatively charged surfaces of poled ferroelectrics-electrets. This emission results from the irradiation of the surface with X-rays of weak intensity. It has been shown both experimentally and theoretically that the mechanism of its emergence differs from the photoemission mechanism, it rather roots in the ferroelectric state of the surface layer.
