Abstract
Transparent ZnO-nanocrystals-dispersed glass films were successfully fabricated by a sol-gel method. A few absorption and photoluminescence (PL) peaks were observed in UV region. We find that three excitons (A, B and C excitons) contribute to the optical absorption. The origin of the PL peaks is also discussed.
