Abstract
Radiation transfer problem in an absorbing and anisotropic scattering homogeneous semi-infinite plane parallel medium subjected to externally incident radiation is considered. Trial functions based on Case's eigen modes and exponential integral function are used. Our numerical results for medium albedo, forward and backward intensities, total intensity and current density are reported and compared with the available published results.
