Abstract
The catalytic hydrolysis of CCl2F2 over mesoporous metal phosphates is reported and compared with ordinary metal phosphates. The fomer catalysts are much more active than the latter ones. The activity of the catalysts is correlated with their surface acidity and hydroxyl groups.
