Abstract
Crystalline CuAl2O4 has formed by solid-solid interaction between CuO and Al2O3 at high temperatures. The formation of CuAl2O4 inhibits CuO diffusing into Al2O3 support. The CO oxidation activity is mainly related to the CuO species on the surface region of CuO/Al2O3 catalysts.
