Abstract
Active and selective Ti(IV)/SiO2 catalysts for cyclohexene epoxidation were prepared by the thermolytic molecular precursor route with a dimeric molecular precursor [(tBuO)2Ti{μ-O2Si[OSi(OtBu)3]2}]2. The catalytic effects of using a molecular dimeric Ti(IV) source was examined as compared to catalysts prepared using monomeric Ti(IV) sources.
