Abstract
The ruthenium-catalyzed allylation of carbon nucleophiles and phenol has been performed in ionic liquid with high conversion and regioselectivity. The catalyst is safely immobilized in the ionic solvent, and thus, can be recycled without loss of catalytic activity and regioselectivity.
