Abstract
Both of sulfidation and post-sulfidation degassing temperatures can be effectively used to manipulate the surface density of anion vacancy, hydroxyl, and sulfhydryl sites over sulfided Ni-Mo/Al2O3 catalysts. Sulfidation temperatures in excess of 500 °C, lead to the formation of a sulfate phase.
