Abstract
A general overview about the effect of Pd addition to cobalt-supported catalysts on several reactions is presented. For the reduction of NOx by methane special emphasis is given to the promotion under wet conditions brought about by positioning Co2+ and Pd2+ at exchange positions of mordenite. Similar to acid zeolites sulfated zirconia also stabilizes Co2+ and Pd2+ ions.
