Abstract
The densities and viscosities of (3-picoline + water) binary mixture have been determined experimentally at temperatures from T = (293.15 to 343.15) K, and the entire mole fraction range of mixture. The excess molar volume, the deviations in viscosity, the excess free energies of activation and the apparent molar volume were calculated from experimental measurements. Results were fitted to obtain the adjustable parameters and standard deviations between the measured and fitted values, respectively. The results were also briefly discussed.
