Abstract
The isothermal and isobaric (vapuor + liquid) equilibria for (α-pinene + n-butanol + n-octane) at T = (353.15 and 363.15) K, and at the pressure p = 53.33 kPa, measured with an inclined ebulliometer are presented. The measured ternary results are analyzed and compared with those calculated from the UNIQUAC equation with temperature-dependent binary parameters obtained from the binary literature data. The results shown the UNIQUAC equation can be used to predict these ternary data.
