Abstract
This paper deals with the effects of flow turbulence and inlet wetness on the process of spontaneous condensation in Laval nozzles. Two-dimensional computations are presented and compared with experimental data for transonic flows in flat and round nozzles in the case of both the absence and the presence of initial wetness supplied to the nozzle inlet.
