Abstract
⺠I examine the relationship between factor shares and economic development. ⺠I decompose total capital's share into physical and natural capital's share. ⺠I decompose total labor's share into human capital's share and raw labor's share. ⺠Reproducible shares are positively related to economic development. ⺠Non-reproducible shares are negatively related to economic development.
