Abstract
⺠Cyclical shocks exert a strong influence on unemployment. ⺠The dynamic relationship between unemployment and cyclical conditions is strong, definite and lasts for several quarters. ⺠The effect of cyclical shocks is stronger on male unemployment than on female unemployment.
