Abstract
⺠In this paper we study how to translate evidence of nonlinearities in growth into policy recommendations. ⺠We describe econometrics methods specifically designed to deliver policy guidance. ⺠We apply the methods to the debate of efficacy of aid and growth in developing countries. ⺠Our results firmly reject the conclusion that aid should be given to countries with better policy quality.
