Abstract
► The paper studies the role of labor market frictions in international business cycle comovement. ► To this aim, we embed labor market search frictions in a two-country New Keynesian model. ► Labor market frictions enhance business cycle comovement, making the model closer to the data. ► Both nominal and rigidities on the labor market substantially contributes to this result.
