Abstract
⺠The paper studies the role of labor market frictions in international business cycle comovement. ⺠To this aim, we embed labor market search frictions in a two-country New Keynesian model. ⺠Labor market frictions enhance business cycle comovement, making the model closer to the data. ⺠Both nominal and rigidities on the labor market substantially contributes to this result.
