Abstract
⺠The joint job-search problem of a couple is characterized. ⺠Dual-searcher (worker-searcher) couples are less (more) choosy than singles. ⺠Joint search can lead to endogenous job quits. ⺠In the model with multiple locations there are tied-movers and tied-stayers. ⺠Empirical support for the theory is found on the SIPP data.
