Abstract
► The joint job-search problem of a couple is characterized. ► Dual-searcher (worker-searcher) couples are less (more) choosy than singles. ► Joint search can lead to endogenous job quits. ► In the model with multiple locations there are tied-movers and tied-stayers. ► Empirical support for the theory is found on the SIPP data.
