Abstract
This review summarizes recent small-angle X-ray scattering investigations of the initial stages of zeolite formation and growth. These studies have increased the zeolite science community's understanding of the structures present at the earliest stages of growth, particularly in the case of silicalite-1 formed from so-called 'clear solution' syntheses.
