Abstract
The results were shown that the fixing of nitrates could be best described by the pseudo second order and the intraparticle diffusion models. The coefficients of correlation obtained during the adjustment of the experimental values to the two models are higher than 98% what gives access to the kinetic parameters of the two models. The dependence of kinetics parameters on initial concentration and mass adsorbent is represented by the simple empirical equations. The normalized standard deviations between the simulated and measured results were calculated and discussed.
