Abstract
Microwave heating of a solid state reaction is an established application in inorganic chemistry. Dehydration of ulexite samples having different particle sizes were investigated using 150, 300, 450 and 600Â W, 2450Â MHz microwave radiation energy. The rate and temperature increase with decreasing particle size and increasing microwave power.
