Abstract
Electron-beam irradiation is used for the measurement of the volume resistivity of some types of polyethylene (PE) and kapton (PI) with a maximum thickness of 75 μm. The energy of the electrons is 3.5-5.5 keV and the maximum time of irradiation is 46 min. The results obtained by this method are compared with those of classic and standardized methods, and the influence of electron-beam irradiation on volume resistivity is studied as well.
