Abstract
Shell hydroforming is a newly developed technology. Essentially, it is a die-less hydrobulging method, also named Integral Hydro-Bulge Forming (IHBF). Its basic principle of preforming before hydrobulging and its practical applications are introduced in this paper. Thickness and size change during the process, and numerical simulation, are also discussed.
