Abstract
In the free axisymmetric blowing of hollow axisymmetric forms, a stable anuerism often develops which then travels through the form. This paper presents a procedure for carrying out experiments where by stresses and strains can be measured during axisymmetric free blowing. This paper explores the relation ship between material properties and this behaviour to explain the conditions under which stable anuerisms can occur.
