Abstract
An exact solution for the case of tube undergoing a dynamic azimuthal shear deformation is given. The tube is prestressed and made of hyperelastic, anisotropic and compressible material. The strain energy density is expressed in a general form of Ogden's model, decomposed in an isotropic mechanical response augmented with unidirectional reinforcing. The proposed solution is used to study the effects of the prestress on the stress distributions.
