Abstract
Exponential decay bounds are determined for an energy expression for a nonlinear parabolic system when the solutions satisfy the nonstandard auxiliary condition that a combination of the initial and final time values is prescribed. The results follow from an appropriate differential inequality. Some examples and extensions are also presented.
