Abstract
In this address, attention is paid to solving hypersingular integral equations (and also to its extension, supersingular integral equations). Firstly, a short discussion is given of the historical development of these mathematical tools. Secondly, the author's own experience in solving such problems is discussed. Lastly, a glimpse of the future is offered by looking at some of the present techniques for solving hypersingular integral equations.
