Abstract
► We study experimentally the co-existence of one-shot and repeated interaction. ► In our setting, a principal simultaneously employs a permanent and a temporary agent. ► Our results show that the principal discriminates between the two agents. ► Discrimination depends on the access to information about co-worker's wages. ► Agents that are discriminated against react negatively by withholding effort.
