Abstract
⺠We study experimentally the co-existence of one-shot and repeated interaction. ⺠In our setting, a principal simultaneously employs a permanent and a temporary agent. ⺠Our results show that the principal discriminates between the two agents. ⺠Discrimination depends on the access to information about co-worker's wages. ⺠Agents that are discriminated against react negatively by withholding effort.
