Abstract
⺠We analyze a model of consumption with social learning and reputation concerns. ⺠We show reputation concerns expedite consumption. ⺠Reputation concerns also decrease imitative consumption. ⺠Reputation concerns make early consumption less socially informative. ⺠Still, reputation concerns may make herding on consumption more likely.
