Abstract
In their comment, Ballet and Bazin offer insightful and constructive criticism of my 2004 paper that integrated Kant's categorical imperative into the economic model of choice. In this reply, I attempt to clarify several points from the 2004 paper, offer some elaborations on the basic framework introduced therein, and respond to Ballet and Bazin's comments and suggestions.
