Abstract
⺠We prove a family of binomial identities related to zero-sum and team games. ⺠This is accomplished by counting approximate saddlepoints in random matrices. ⺠The expected number of approximate Nash equilibria for such games is considered. ⺠A Vandermonde formula for Gauss 2F1 polynomials gives an equivalent estimate.
