Abstract
Awkward and extreme postures can increase the risk of musculoskeletal disorders. Ranking systems for assessment of stressfulness of body deviations around different joints can be used for quantifying the magnitude for physical exposure to poor working postures. This study investigates perceived discomforts depending upon the levels of varying joint motions, and presents three ranking systems for the stressfulness of joint motions.
