Abstract
We analyze the quantum version of an M-component spin-glass model that, in the limit Mââ, exhibits a positive entropy with the correct properties in the limit Tâ0. We generalize the model in the presence of a transverse field Î by using a fermionic representation for the spin operators. We present results for the phase diagram Tc vs Î, entropy and order parameters.
