Abstract
•We apply qq-deformation to electrical properties of metals.•We investigate the qq-deformed Sommerfeld parameter.•The result revealed that qq-deformation acts as a factor of impurity.
We study the thermodynamics of metals by applying qq-deformed algebras. We shall mainly focus our attention on qq-deformed Sommerfeld parameter as a function of qq-deformed electronic specific heat. The results revealed that qq-deformation acts as a factor of disorder or impurity, modifying the characteristics of a crystalline structure and thereby controlling the number of electrons per unit volume.
