Abstract
												The development of a shared medical file on one hand and the French « Plan Cancerrequiring standardized Pathology reports on the other hand should lead to an harmonization of macroscopy and histology for cancer.surgical pathology management. Numerous studies evaluated macroscopy and histology protocols for radical prostatectomy specimens. We have been working since five years with different members from the CCAFU (Comité de Cancérologie de l'Association Française d'Urologie and from the SFP (Société Française de Pathologie) on a standardized report in prostatic pathology with a primary goal to get necessary and sufficient data for clinical management of patients suffering from prostate carcinoma. In addition, we associated an digitalized file comprising required macroscopic data associated with pertinent histopathology and immunohistochemistry images.
