Abstract
A novel chiral dinuclear salen-Zn(II) complex was synthesized. Its recognition of achiral guests, chiral guests, and rigid bidentate guest DABCO were studied via UV-vis spectrophotometric titration, CD spectra, 1H NMR titration, ROESY, molecular modelling, and DFT calculations.
