Abstract
This paper investigates the structural and spectroscopic properties of dinuclear rhenium complexes containing (ReO)2(μ-O) core. Some aspects connected with methods of synthesis are also discussed here. Considering the structure of ReORe bridge, these compounds have been generally divided into two groups: (i) complexes with a linear ReORe unit, and (ii) complexes with a bent ReORe core.
